The steam coupling has a large diameter flange on the sleeve to aid gripping while the user wears heavy gloves. EPDM seals are standard, and can be used with steam at temperatures up to 350°F.
Options are BSPP threads, sleeve lock, EPDM seals for use with steam at temperatures above 350°F and fluorocarbon seals.
