Bleeder-style plugs can be used on air lines to prevent hose whip when disconnecting a line by reducing the exhaust velocity of air. Bleeder-style plugs can be used on hydraulic lines to prevent static pressure from building up in disconnected lines.
Valves of these plugs are manufactured such that a small leak path exists when the plug is disconnected. Bleeder-style plugs are available in Series 1-HK through 6-HKP.
